7 JUNE 2013 | STYLE

Summer Safari chic is a tried and tested trend – one that does beach friendly fashion and city sleek in one fell swoop. This season, there are several ways to work the look. Whether it’s pulled together and preened or mixed in with print, safari style is sure to set the summer mood. Here are three ways we’ll be working the look.

1. Short and sweet:  Working a safari short suit a la Belstaff is a great way to do a look that works well for both smart and casual. Pair with a simple silk blouse and minimal heels to keep it looking slick. 2. Pair with print: To mix it up a bit, work your simple safari shirt with a printed skirt for the pretty way to do it for Spring. 3. Top to toe: For the sleekest approach, a safari style skirt suit or simple dress will be one of the hardest working items in your wardrobe this summer. Pair with statement accessories for a day to night dressing solution.
