Kelly Cook and Tina Craig are blog pioneers – they were among the first to create and popularize fashion blogs, and have since conquered the social media platform with their popular snob franchise which includes Beauty Snob, Couture Snob, Tot Snob, Jewel Snob, Shoe Snob and of course, the one and only Bag Snob. Aside from their successful internet venture, they are also mothers – technologically advanced ones at that – who are able to balance their work and family commitments all the while legitimizing their fashion and beauty obsessions. We hope that our interview with them will give you some insight into the ladies behind the name as well as their amazing partnership. Read on and learn from the masters ….

KOTUR: Do you have a beauty secret?
Kelly: Clarisonic skincare brush. I can skip facials and still have radiant skin.
Tina: Olive oil with brown sugar and fresh lemon juice makes a fantastic all over scrub for face and body.

KOTUR: What would be your desert island essentials?
Kelly: Sunscreen, water and a cell phone with solar charger. I’m very practical!
Tina: Sunscreen, hat, Kindle and drinks with little umbrellas.

KOTUR: How would your describe your style?
Kelly: Casual and sporty.
Tina: High, Low, Vintage.

KOTUR: What’s your greatest extravagance?
Kelly: Exotic bags. Well, bags in general but my love for exotic borders on extreme.
Tina: Diamonds.

KOTUR: Favorite KOTUR bag?
Kelly: Wallace in python.
Tina: Any clutch with starburst or crystal embellishment!

KOTUR: If you could live in any other time for its fashion, what would you choose?
Kelly: The 1960s. Women dressed up to get the mail.
Tina: 1950s. I love a cinched in waist silhouette!

KOTUR: Is there anything in your wardrobe you should get rid of but can’t?
Kelly: Old pajamas. I should go throw them out right now.
Tina: 7 jeans, they’re so out of fashion but fit so well.

KOTUR: What’s the most treasured item in your wardrobe?
Kelly: My Vera Wang wedding gown that has been hermetically sealed. I can’t even wear it for fun again because I can’t fit into it!
Tina: Christian Dior vintage Haute Couture gown from 1967.

KOTUR: Have you ever worn anything you now regret?
Kelly: Uh, how about everything I wore when I was a teenager? Let’s just say I had a perm and thought high waisted, pleated, acid wash jeans were a good look.
Tina: Harem pants.

KOTUR: How old is too old for a mini?
Kelly: Unfortunately, I am too old for it now. I turn 40 this month.
Tina: If you live to 100, you deserve to wear anything you want.

KOTUR: How high is too high a heel?
Kelly: Anything over four inches is just treacherous. And four inches with a two inch platform? You’re just asking for an ankle cast.
Tina: No heel is too high.

KOTUR: What’s your idea of a great holiday?
Kelly: Anywhere in the world with good friends and good food.
Tina: A week of shopping and dining in Paris followed by a week of sun and fun in the Cote d’Azur.

KOTUR: What are you most proud of?
Kelly: My daughters.
Tina: My cooking skills.

KOTUR: What is your pure bliss?
Kelly: Lazy weekends when the kids pile into bed with us and we just play, giggle and enjoy the love fest.
Tina: Finding anything from Alaia for 80 per cent off.

KOTUR: Who or what would you like to be reincarnated as in your next life?
Kelly: My kids, they have it pretty good!
Tina: Oprah.

KOTUR: What would you eat for your last supper?
Kelly: Chocolate truffles from Madame Chocolate. The last time I was there, I declared it as such!!
Tina: Spicy Chinese Food.

KOTUR: What part of your body would you like to change?
Kelly: My boobs.
Tina: Other than an additional eight inches to my legs, nothing.

KOTUR: On a scale of one-to-ten, how good looking are you?
Kelly: I’m slightly above average so I say 7. This is such an awkward question, does anyone say 10?
Tina: 11!
