Ever on the lookout for new and more appealing ways to workout as we are, each January’s deluge of new ways to exercise never fails to stir up some good intentions. Sitting on the precipice of a new year, and one in which we intend to up our fitness game considerably, reading about how to get started makes us feel, at least, that we are on the right track. Tabata

As detailed here by Shape Magazine, Tabata became something of a buzzword in 2013, and is set to hit the mainstream. Based on short, high intensity workouts, it’s promise of fat burning and fitness in a simple daily four minutes got our interest piqued. Just don’t expect those minutes to pass without maximum effort.

Barre Workouts

Inspired by ballet, pilates and yoga and focused on a total body toning workout, a Barre workout became the route of the well honed last year. Now, we shall endeavour to get in on the game.
