August 29 marks the 100th anniversary of Ingrid Bergman’s birth, and on that day MOMA and BAM will launch a celebration retrospective of her most famous, and infamous films. From a magnificent career that spanned 50 years, Bergman played strong-willed, spirited and independent characters, much like herself, which makes her the kind of woman we most admire… May her legacy live on for yet another century.
